About Our Hunting:
Whale Pass Alaska - located on the northeast side of Prince of Whales Island offers World Class Black Bear hunting with a rifle or bow, and fishing.  We offer non-guided hunts only.

Our location is such, that you can hunt a lot of coves within a 3 mile radius.  That will give you a choice of excellent sites to setup your bait stations, or cruise the shore line for spot and stalk.

We have never had a year that didn't produce a few P&Y bears, plus numerous bears that range 6 feet and over.

I want you to know this is not an easy hunt.  However if you have the patience and the desire to bag a true belly dragger, then this is the place for you.

Some of these bears were taken during our spring hunt and some during our fall combo hunt (Bear and Silver Salmon).  We also offer a spring combo (Bear and Halibut).

Lodging
$200 per day per person.  This includes cabin, boat and a hunting vehicle (tips are optional).

A deposit of 50% of the booking is due at the time of reservation.  The balance is due at the end of your stay.  This is NON-REFUNDABLE, however it is transferable to the next year.

Clothing:
Wear light woolies, layered and loose.  Rain gear.  Water poof boots.
License Fees:

If you want a 7 day fishing for spring Halibut or fall Silver Salmon, add $30.00.

Halibut fishing is handled by a private licensed guide.  His fee is $150/day per person and you can decide if you want to fish after you are here.  The charter boat will pick you up at our cabins.

We sell licenses in our store.
